A sight from a distance -- he’s attractive;
Plans in my mind are made.
Eye contact and a friendly chat;
The foundation has been laid.
We walk, we talk about where we grew up;
Framework is starting to form.
We insulate with talk of family;
HIs smile is friendly and warm.
Secrets revealed and like a roof o’erhead,
I feel protected when he is near.
The walls are up, but doors open wide;
I let him in without any fear.
Carpet is laid and painted walls;
I want to look good for him every day.
Furniture posed, we settle down,
In this home forever we’ll stay.

A relationship definitely needs trust to build upon. Love the poem, Brandon.

Oh, I love this so much. Relationships are so much like a house, and once built on a solid foundation, we can feel safe inside. I love how you keep the “doors open wide.” 🙂 Beautiful work.

Trust is so important in relationships, and you wrote this beautifully. I wrote a piece on why trust is so important in relationships; if you have time, I would love for you to give it a read! 🙂
Best, Johan

Thank you! I just read a couple of your articles and they are very good. Do you have your own blog or do you only write for Road to Relationships?

Thank you so much! I write most of the articles, but I own the blog and outsource some articles. What about you?

Oh, that’s awesome! It’s a great-looking website, very professional. I’m a lead writer for a company called Iko Brands. I write mainly for a website called calmingdog.com and I’ll be doing some product reviews and videos for cat products in the near future. Thanks for asking and nice to (virtually) meet you. 😀 Where are you from?
