Breakup

I’m sorry if you’re mad, but I really have to tell you,
We’ve had some ups and downs, but now our journey’s through.
My future’s looking bright, now I’ve met somebody new,
And you’re forever in my past, my dear 2022.

I’m charging on ahead, becoming a different me;
I don’t know what’s in store, but I feel alive and free!
We’ll always have this year and pleasant memories,
But I’m now madly in love with 2023!

  1. haha! 😀

    Love this ~ I was thinking of doing something similar at first, but my mind went in a more typical “breakup” direction… I’m so glad you chose this concept, Brandon – well done!
