In My Head

In My Head

Is it only in my head?
My dreams are always better than life,
Sometimes I wish I were dead,
My reality is filled with strife.

My dreams are always better than life,
I know I’m thinking selfishly,
My reality is filled with strife,
And nobody really loves me.

I know I’m thinking selfishly,
That’s just the way it is,
And nobody really loves me,
Is nothing truer than this?

That’s just the way it is,
I’m trapped and screaming, yet no one knows,
Is nothing truer than this?
I’m flying above, see my body below.

I’m trapped and screaming, yet no one knows,
Sometimes I wish I were dead,
I’m flying above, see my body below
Or is it only in my head?

  1. Brandon, first, I have to say that this is relatable to me – you are not alone in these feelings!

second – I have to say this is a seamless pantoum – it didn’t feel forced in the slightest bit – just perfection!
