Untitled Poem

Always Believing,
     Constantly Deceiving,
        Ever, Forever, Grieving;

Holding Implications,
    Just Knowing Lamentations,
        Making Numerous Odd Provocations;

Questionable Reasons,
    Sovereign Treason,

Understanding Valiance,
    Waning Xistence,

Yet Zealous.

I would love some comments on this one. I’d especially like to know if anyone notices the … shall we say “theme”?

  1. It’s not just the alphabetical order, it’s the choice of words to make us think. Its about contradicting ourselves in behaviour and the way we remain unaware.
    Clever play with the alphabet. I have done this numerous times in my poetry books. It is a way of practising the language and learning.
