A mysterious door found under the stairs, A door of entrance or exit to where? From the other side, no door can be seen, Yet light shines through; what can this mean? Smaller than a normal person would use, Created for a purpose or just to confuse? A portal of dimensions? I believe no such tall tales, Yet the reason it’s there, my explanations fail. Undiscovered for years, a hidden mystery, And so it remains until I find the key. Copyright © 2022 Brandon Ellrich
Here is Alan’s response to this photo prompt:
Flash of lightning from under the door…
crash of thunder I cannot ignore…
Is he raising the dead
with a shock to the head?
I just heard a loud thump on the floor!

Thanks! I didn’t get much response from the prompt, so I guess I’ll go back to participating in them rather than trying to host them. 😒

It takes a while for people to notice the prompts.

Oh, a secret door! After reading about Narnia as a child I searched for one everywhere, but after reading Coraline I’d be terrified if I found one. I like your take and photo very much.

Thanks a lot. It would be cool if it would take me somewhere else whenever things get stressful. Work out my problems? No thanks, I have a magic door to escape them! Lol
