Always Believing, Constantly Deceiving, Ever, Forever, Grieving; Holding Implications, Just Knowing Lamentations, Making Numerous Odd Provocations; Questionable Reasons, Sovereign Treason, Understanding Valiance, Waning Xistence, Yet Zealous.
I would love some comments on this one. I’d especially like to know if anyone notices the … shall we say “theme”?

Is it about an overzealous leader? From what I perceive, the poem talks about someone who is at odds with his own thinking. It is a juxtaposition of thoughts.

It has a couple different meanings, but to see one of the themes, look at the first letter of each word.

I decided to try it as a challenge to myself. Of course, I had to improvise when it came to the letter X.

Lovely composition with a deep meaning… very intelligently placed meaningful words in alphabetical order to expose a jealous self centered sympathy monger …

It’s not just the alphabetical order, it’s the choice of words to make us think. Its about contradicting ourselves in behaviour and the way we remain unaware.
Clever play with the alphabet. I have done this numerous times in my poetry books. It is a way of practising the language and learning.

Lovely… would the intentions be enhanced if each of the beginning letters is bolded or italicized?…

I could do that. I just didn’t want to make it TOO obvious. I guess it’s difficult to see it from an outside perspective when I’ve looked at it so many times. And thank you!

I’m not sure if I can guess the theme, but it reminds me of my internal thought monologue, haha. Always a battle, always contradicting myself, and trying to be better!
